TMJ Massage

Temporomandibular joint dysfunction is a problem that affects the jaw. TMJ manifests in several ways, including pain, reduced range of motion, and recurring headaches. Massage can positively affect the muscles around the joint to provide immediate relief to reduce pain, increase range of motion and reduce headache frequency. To begin treatment, a prescription with diagnosis needs to be obtained by a medical doctor, a dentist, or a chiropractor. We can coordinate this with you. Treatment may or may not include intra-oral massage, massage of the muscles of the scalp, face, and neck, or hot or cold pack application.

Your TMJ massage is fully customizable and is determined after a brief consultation and review of your medical history. Please express all concerns to your therapist so that an adequate treatment plan is developed. We look forward to working with you!
